Designed custom hosting platform similar to AWS, GCP, and Digital Ocean.

Having control over your data and proprietary information is more important now than ever before. I was hired to help a company design an internal dashboard, similar to AWS, DigitalOcean, and GCP, to deploy Linux and Windows virtual machines. I was excited to design this project from scratch, having used numerous hosting platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, GCP, and even cPanel for WordPress-hosted sites. Each platform can have a steep learning curve depending on what you're hosting and how you're using it. Our goal was to provide a robust tool while simplifying the experience by offering only what was necessary for each type of deployment.

##Component Library Management

The technology stack for this project did not include a component library, so we built everything with custom-designed components. Along with another UI/UX Designer, I maintained this custom component library and its associated variants. Since this project contains proprietary designs that haven't been made public, please inquire for examples or prototypes.

##Conclusion

This project is one of the coolest I've been a part of. It allowed me to help build a product from scratch, offering a service similar to cloud platform giants like AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean. We improved the user experience by simplifying onboarding, guiding users through their first deployment, and ensuring they didn't need to be cloud computing experts to get started. Our entire team, including network engineers, product managers, and designers, brought valuable feedback and experiences, helping us cultivate a user-friendly experience from the start.
