Evoca TV provides a unique experience to end users by providing their favorite regional sports teams over the air. This experience is coupled with the ability to record those same teams. With the tap of a button, users can opt-in to record all events that are televised via Evoca TV so that you can view them later.
An easy to understand buyflow is vital to convert users to customers. This can get complicated when there are both required and optional items in the same flow.
Having started my career in a Web Design/Development and Technical Support role for a large Health System, I had a unique opportunity to get technical experience in addition to design/branding experience.
Over the past few years, many of us have transitioned to a solely remote working environment and one has stood out to me over that time, having a good setup is vital. Below are a few of the things I rely on to help maintain that balance of comfort and productivity.
This is hands down the best desktop or laptop Mac that I have ever owned. I used to use a 15.4" MacBook Pro i7 and I could practically pop popcorn when it would heat up.
I like utilizing a 27" display that shows fine detail like the LG 4K monitor for mock-ups and coding while also using an HD monitor to check designs on HD. This helps mimic what web apps will look like to end users since HD is still the primary display used by the masses.
A friend recommended Keychron keyboards to me so I picked one up and the typing experience is great! It's a mechanical keyboard so it's obviously a bit louder but it's smooth, has nice feedback, and I can type just as fast if not faster than the Apple Magic Keyboards. I still use the Apple Magic Mouse because it has so many gestures and is the best I've used with a Mac.
Likely the most popular prototyping tool in the industry, Figma helps me quickly mock-up anything from a single screen to multi-view layout. Sharing with colleagues is also a breeze with this tool as the desktop client always syncs with the cloud and sharing a link is easy!
I like to build robust and dynamic prototypes when the need arises. Axure RP 10 allows me to do that by having built in tooling to utilize logic, dynamic pop-ups, scroll triggers and much more!
Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD have all been used on various projects in the past if necessary.
I started using Webstorm in college and it stuck. It's a great IDE for React, Next and many other web projects to get a whole view.
Great app for updating HTML/CSS code quickly or needing a plain text document. It's also highly customizable and can be turned into a full blown IDE with add-ons.
Utilized to help keep track of projects, tasks, and subtasks.
Used for sprints to help keep track of progress for projects between development, product, and design/marketing teams.
Used for epic, sprints, and daily stand-ups.
